The armored joint prestressed steel cylinder concrete pipe is a technical improvement product of the prestressed steel cylinder concrete pipe (PCCP). It is a pre-designed tie-type joint method to effectively overcome the internal axial thrust of the PCCP pipeline. It is usually used at the turning point of the pipeline, the variable cross-section of the pipeline, the adjacent part of the pipe and the pipe fitting and the terminal of the pipeline.
The structure form of armored joint is to set thrust ring on ordinary socket and socket, and the thrust ring on socket is clamped by groove type armored snap ring to form armor, so that the axial force between pipes can be transmitted.
